I prepared this video for a one minute story project curated by Scott Rettberg who had been a student in my Visible Rhetoric class during his MA work at Illinois State.1 When I started creating this site, I discovered that I liked the video version of the poem way better than any of the print versions in my archives. Editing a poem into a one minute story had made me rethink what I was doing in a very productive way. As a result I had to transcribe the poem from the video to include it in this site.
